Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 14, 2025

At The Dominguez Group, our goal is to provide professional real estate services that help clients buy and sell property with confidence. Because our work is service-based and tied to formal agreements, refunds are governed strictly by the terms of the Seller Agreement and/or Buyer Agreement executed between The Dominguez Group and the client.

1. Refunds Based on Agreements

Seller Clients: Any refund or cancellation of fees for listing services, marketing costs, or other charges will be handled in accordance with the terms outlined in the Seller Agreement you signed.
Buyer Clients: Any refund or cancellation of fees related to buyer representation will be handled in accordance with the terms outlined in the Buyer Agreement you signed.

No refunds are provided outside of these written agreements.

2. Compliance With Federal and State Law

All refund practices will comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) requirements.

3. Non-Refundable Services

Certain services, once performed, may not be eligible for refund, including but not limited to:

Advertising and marketing expenses already incurred.
Administrative or transaction fees where work has already been performed.
Third-party vendor services (such as staging, photography, or inspections) arranged on your behalf.

These terms will be disclosed in your Seller or Buyer Agreement.

4. Process for Requesting a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under the terms of your agreement:

Submit your request in writing to The Dominguez Group.
Include a copy of your signed Seller Agreement or Buyer Agreement.
Clearly state the reason for your request and the specific clause in your agreement that applies.
Our office will review your request in good faith and respond within [X] business days.
